So if I understand you correctly, we could replicate a boost, use it and then use another A - D action based on that new ability, right?

|araver, can we replicate an advanced training module with a specific trait (say ENG) or would the trait be random?|
P.S. I am not that punishing to put RNG inside an action designed to balance RNG.
Calrification since I double-checked the OP: boost is listed in the OOA as first, so you can use it after replication and via what Insaner pointed out to me in previous ST, the result of an action can be used further along the OOA.

|I don't get how to use the boost nor how it helps.|
Boost permanently adds a skill to the person who uses it. Between us, we have COM, MED, DIP, SCI, but we don't currently have SEC or ENG. By using a boost, we could "augment" ourselves with one of the missing skills, permanently. I mentioned ENG since with that we can start transmuting items instead of replicating from 2 items. Unless/until we bring our third member into the fold, we won't have access to those skills without a boost.
ENG is the most useful on its own, given the ability to transmute, so I would suggest using the replicator on one comm badge (I think we should keep one to help with forging alliances with other factions) and the emergency transporter to produce a skill boost for ENG. I can use that tonight, but I don't immediately see an item to use, unless I want to try to transmute one of the other items into something more immediately useful.
