Mafia is that party game you may have played, where there is a mafia (informed minority) trying to overtake an entire village and the villagers (uninformed Majority) are trying to stop them. We play these mafia games over several days in our forum and we have people from all over the world playing them. These mafia games can be themed from movies, real life situations and almost anything you can think of! Mafia involves a lot of creative strategy, making you think on your toes. Derry, Maine - 2017
It has been many years since it appeared. In fact, just the right number of years. Derry, Maine has turned into a ghost town and it has found it difficult to find children feed on. He ventures slowly but surely until he finds his way to a place full of ripe young children for him to feed on...

GM's cul-de-sac - 2017
It arrives at GM's cul-de-sac to a state that is still in turmoil as it is every year. Many of the problems from before are still around but around Halloween, everyone is ready to have fun in their costumes. It sees the joy the children take in putting on their costumes and scaring each other and finds it the perfect place to feed...

So here we are again, where a new terror has taken GM's fictitious world and all of the children are in danger...again. While not a zombie, like before, it is still able to draw people to do its bidding or simply kill them off outright. The question is...will it survive...or be killed again.

So this will be much like my Halloween Mafia III game but simpler in that it still follows your typical night and day pattern.


IT WINCON - Last one standing
IT - The shapeshifting clown. Has two powers and chooses one each night. Can either RID Kill a Loser or someone recruited by the losers at night or try to recruit any non-loser townsperson to do his bidding for him (Recruit player not recruit role). Cannot be lynched but can be identified if chosen for the lynching during the day. Can only be killed by the RoC Kill (Ritual of Chüd kill) at night if all of the recruits IT has are dead.


Losers Club
WINCON: Get in a BTSC with at least 2 other members via RIDing each other and use the RoC kill on an identified IT. Each of the losers can do one RID Guess per night and if correct will gain BTSC with them.

William "Bill" Denbrough - Leader of the Losers. Can kill each night, though cannot kill IT. Can kill any of recruits though

Benjamin "Ben" Hanscom - Extremely smart. Can role spy one person per night and discern their ability, but not their alliance to IT unless they, in fact, spy IT.

Beverly "Bev" Marsh - The lone loser girl. Can lure any person (so not IT) into a trap stopping their action for the night and their vote during the day.

Richard "Richie" Tozier - Can use his laughter to redirect any action to another player, including IT.

Edward "Eddie" Kaspbrak - Weakling, but can RID Recruit non-losers into the BTSC. When recruited, IT can't use this person against them and this person can use their power against IT/its recruits. Eddie's recruits can't be part of the RoC Ritual.

Michael "Mike" Hanlon - Mike is the strong member able to block any action, including those of IT.

Stanley "Stan" Uris - Can read one mind of the non-losers to know if they are affiliated with IT.


Other children
WINCON - Can win with Losers Club if they are recruited by them or if unrecruited at the end of the game. Can only win with IT once recruited.
To prevent specific recruiting, these 5 characters have either a block, spy, 48-hour BTSC removal, passive redirect, and RID Kill. They are free to use these actions before being recruited by either side.

I think one or maybe two losers should out n1 so we can get btsc going.

If just one outs, it has to decide between getting a recruit for safety or stopping the btsc with a rid kill. That still gives losers a chance to find it n1 with 2 spies and a chance to lynch it d1 since it would not yet have any recruits to protect it. Rinse and repeat each night til we find and lynch it.

Or 2 out n1 so at least some get into btsc. Or maybe all get into 2 different btsc if it decides to forget the rid kill and start recruiting right away.

Thoughts?

If nobody outs n1, we lose the shot at btsc and it will mosdef start building a base of support.

One at a time would let it just run the clock out since we need btsc to kill it.

I think two out at a time works better, and decent chance it decides to recruit n1 rather than kill.

I'd nominate Bill (the kill) and Bev (trap) out and they rid each other while everyone rids one of them.

If we go with 2 outing, we could decide to have 3 of us rid one and 2 the other, so we get at least one btsc if it decides to kill. And it would probably go for the one 3 of us were riding, so we should decide which of Bill and Bev is most expendable and have 3 go to them and decide which two we'd most like to see gain btsc with the other of Bill/Bev.

Whatever we do, outting just 1 at a time is fairly pointless as It would kill that person to prevent btsc.

We could discuss it n1/d1 and out d1/n2(early) to gain btsc for d2 I suppose. It would be nice to gain it at the start of d1 though.
